Epithalon
AEDG Research Peptide
$49.99
Overview
Epithalon is a synthetic four-amino-acid peptide made of L-alanine, L-glutamic acid, L-aspartic acid, and glycine. Its sequence is Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly (AEDG). Some scientific literature spells it Epitalon.
Epithalon is an investigational research material and is not an FDA-approved drug. For laboratory research use only. Not for human or veterinary consumption. Not for injection, ingestion, or intranasal use. Not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Research Details
Laboratory studies have examined AEDG in telomerase-related signaling, telomere dynamics, cellular senescence, and gene regulation. Cell-culture studies have reported changes in telomerase activity and telomere length under specific conditions. Other models have examined possible interactions with histone proteins and transcription markers.
Most findings come from cultured cells and animal models. They do not show slower aging, longer life, improved sleep, or other longevity benefits in humans.
Research areas include:
- Telomerase and hTERT-expression assays
- Telomere-length analysis
- Cellular-senescence research
- Short-peptide gene-expression studies
- Histone-peptide interaction modeling
- Cell-proliferation and passage-limit experiments
- AEDG stability and analytical characterization
