SS-31

SS-31, also known as elamipretide, is a mitochondria-targeted tetrapeptide studied for its interaction with cardiolipin within the inner mitochondrial membrane.

Research involving SS-31 has examined mitochondrial membrane organization, oxidative phosphorylation, cellular bioenergetics, redox signaling, and responses to mitochondrial stress.
